This mandala is constructed from 8 separate layers of veneer, assembled layer by layer to create depth, shadows, and vibrancy in the design.

The pattern has a classic mandala character that can evoke both floral shapes and sun motifs, depending on how the light hits the layers and how the motif is perceived from a distance.

All layers are kept in the same warm tone, with a single layer in light blue/turquoise creating a calm contrast and highlighting the details in the pattern.

The mandala is set in a handmade frame from the workshop and has an outer dimension of approx. 60 x 45 cm.

Its large size and multiple layers make the motif an effective focal point on the wall, while still maintaining a calm and balanced expression.
