Large Tealight Holder in Spalted Birch

A hand-turned tealight holder where form, texture, and wood are central.

The tealight holder is turned from spalted birch and measures approx. 28 cm in diameter and 7 cm in height. Its soft, organic form and ribbed surface create a serene expression reminiscent of traces in sand shaped by wind and weather.

The wood has retained its natural character with visible knots, color variations, and structure, making each tealight holder unique. The light birch is treated with a completely matte clear lacquer that protects the surface while preserving the wood's natural character.

In the center, an aluminum holder is fitted, suitable for standard tealights.

Its simple form allows the tealight holder to fit into many types of interiors – from modern and minimalist homes to cabins and summer houses where natural materials play the main role.

This makes an excellent gift for weddings, anniversaries, housewarmings, or other occasions where you want to give something handmade and lasting.

To reduce heat exposure to the wood, the use of LED tealights is recommended. The holder can also be used with regular tealights, but these should never be left unattended.

Each tealight holder is individually turned in the workshop, and small variations in structure, knots, color, and expression are a natural part of the craftsmanship.

Wood is a living material, and these very variations contribute to giving each piece its own character.
