Turned tealight holder in ash
A hand-turned tealight holder where form, texture, and wood take center stage.
The tealight holder is turned from ash and measures approximately 15.5 cm in diameter and approx. 4.5 cm in height. Its low, soft shape creates a calm expression, while the delicate grooves covering the surface add life and depth when light falls on the wood.
Ash is known for its beautiful grain patterns and light hues. To preserve this appearance, the tealight holder is treated with a fully matte clear lacquer that protects the surface without hiding the wood's natural character.
In the center, there is an embedded aluminum holder suitable for standard tealights.
The design is simple and timeless, inspired by Scandinavian design where materials, craftsmanship, and function are central. The tealight holder fits equally well on the dining table as on a sideboard, in the windowsill, or as part of a larger decoration.
To reduce heat exposure to the wood, the use of LED tealights is recommended. The holder can also be used with regular tealights, but these should never be left unattended.
Each tealight holder is individually turned in the workshop, and small variations in structure, grain, and expression make each piece unique.
Wood is a living material, and small variations in color and structure are a natural part of the craftsmanship.
