This mandala is built from 7 separate layers of veneer, assembled layer by layer to give the motif depth and shadows.

The motif combines clockwork and mechanical forms with an abstract head in a steampunk-inspired style. The different layers bring the details to life and make the expression change with light and angle.

The colors consist of antique oak, light oak, and off-white, which together provide a warm contrast between the dark and light elements in the motif.

The mandala is set in a handmade frame from the workshop and has an outer dimension of approx. 45 x 45 cm.
